Aimtron Electronics is accelerating its growth plans as global supply chains shift and demand for complex electronics rises, guiding for 40–50 per cent CAGR and targeting ₹1,000 crore in revenue over the next three years, driven by demand across defence, industrial IoT and export markets.

Speaking to businessline, Sneh Shah, Whole-Time Director & Head of Sales, India, Aimtron Electronics Ltd, said the company reported strong momentum in the current financial year, with its first-half revenue at approximately ₹122 crore and a healthy pipeline supporting continued growth in the second half, according to Sneh Shah of Aimtron.

Growth is being driven by increasing traction in defense, aerospace, telecom, and industrial IoT, alongside a shift towards higher-value, design-led manufacturing and original design manufacturing (ODM). The company has also benefited from global supply chain diversification trends, particularly the China-plus-one strategy, which is driving more international business to India.

Aimtron currently operates manufacturing facilities in Vadodara and Bengaluru, as well as a recently acquired unit in the US. Its Bengaluru facility, located in Whitefield, plays a key role in design, R&D, and clean-room manufacturing, catering to high-precision sectors such as aerospace and defence.

As part of its expansion strategy, the company is setting up a new mechatronics facility in Gujarat, which will enable backward and forward integration by bringing capabilities such as plastics and sheet metal manufacturing in-house. This is expected to strengthen its position in system integration and improve margins over time.

Emerging segments

Looking ahead, Aimtron is betting on emerging segments such as AI, drones, robotics, railways, and advanced telecom technologies, while continuing to deepen its presence in industrial IoT, which already accounts for a significant share of its portfolio.

The company is also exploring inorganic opportunities in international markets to scale its global footprint, as it positions itself to move up the electronics manufacturing value chain.
