An analogue horror? Say less. A few of you are playing the Mandela Project-inspired Mulberry County right now, and we discovered from playing that there’s a lot to this game. So, we made this Mulberry County walkthrough to help you with every step of it, from wandering around in the dark fields, to answering questions about mitochondria. (The powerhouse of the cell.)
Mulberry County Walkthrough
In this walkthrough we’ve split this up by the Chapters. You can access each Chapter from the lobby screen, though if you play you’ll naturally move through each Chapter and progress to the end of the volume. We’re still looking into a few of the badges, but the following info below will get you the good ending.

Chapter 1 – Part 1
You should wake up in your house, after falling asleep on the couch.
- Turn off the radio.
- After the dialogue, head into the kitchen diner. You can turn on the light switch to the left of the door. There should be three foods on the dining table. Pick one.
- Next you need to get some water. Head into the kitchen part of the room. There’s a light switch on the pillar to the right of the entranceway.
- Grab the cup off the counter, then interact with the sink.
- Next, you need to find you chore list. It’s on the fridge.
- Once you’ve checked the list, the phone rings, go and answer it.
- Benson will sound like he has a punchable face, and he’s coming over in the evening, whether you want it or not.
- It looks like your brother won’t be much use either, he’s not back until late.
- Still, chores to do.
- The next task is to take out the trash. You’ll see some trash bags on the right of the kitchen exit way into the dining room. Interact with those to pick them up.
- Head to the front door and take the bags outside to the trash can.
- As you wait and muse about your life, a car should pass, and drop an item.
- Go over to the papers and pick them up.
- Take the papers upstairs. (Light switch is on the left at the top of the stairs.)
- You need to go to your bedroom, which is the second door on the left.
- Head to your desk and interact with it to place the documents down. (We found this a little tricky when we tried it.)
- Once the documents are down, you’ll be asked to complete your homework. Interact with the other heap of papers on the desk to do that.
Homework Questions

In this section, you’re asked to answer a series of questions, and you get a choice of two subjects. For our Mulberry County walkthrough, we chose Biology. You’ll find the correct answers below.
- What Is Your Name?
- Henry (Seen on the list on the fridge.)
- What is 2×2?
- What is 9/2?
- What is 2^3
- What Is This Called?
- Mitochondria (The powerhouse of the cell.)
- True or false, our DNA is similar to that of computer code.
- True (Subjective, but okay.)
- How many cells are contained within just one eyes?
- True or False: A single adult male contains 36 Trillion cells.
- How many atoms are contained within a single cell?
- True or False: Given enough time a dog could evolved into a human.
- True or False: Micro-evolution (small changes and variations in species) is easily observable and considered fact. Macro-evolution (changes at the species level creating new species) is extremely debated and contested among scientists.
- True (We’d question this because Wikipedia says otherwise, but that’s the answer in-game.)
Chapter 1 – Part 2
Questions section done, you’re back in control of Henry.
- Once you’re done with your homework, it’s time to get a snack. Head back to the kitchen diner. There should be a back of Chips For Noobs on the counter.
- After that, you’re about to go back to your homework, when you get a phone call. The kind of phone call with heavy breathing and someone talking about your house.
- Somehow, you aren’t worried by this, so want to go back upstairs to do your homework. Absolute horror protagonist moment.
- As you get to the top of the stairs, you’ll hear glass smash downstairs. This is what happens when you ignore creepy phone calls. Go downstairs to investigate.
- The window is broken. Glass is all over the floor. You clean it up. You still want to do your homework. Terminal horror protagonist moment.
- You finish it and fall asleep.
And things get weird.
Dream Sequence

Next comes a dream sequence with some dialogue choices. We’ve recorded the ones we tried for the Mulberry County walkthrough test run which… seemed to get us through in one piece.
- Hello
- Have you been tired lately?
- Do you believe your life has purpose?
—
- Hello
- Where are you?
- Do you know what this is?
Chapter 2

You wake up and it’s after dark. You forgot to feed the animals. That means, you have to go out there after that ominous dream. Good luck.
- Grab the flashlight.
- Head for the stairs.
- You’ll hear a knock at the door.
- Go downstairs and interact with the peephole to look though.
- There’s a man outside. Literally like a cut-out of a realistic man.
- Ask why they’re standing so far away.
- Turns out, that’s not a man.
- In spite of just seeing some eldritch horror from beyond the stars, Henry still wants you to feed the horses. Henry’s kind of an idiot, but we’ll roll with it for now.
- Head into the kitchen to find the horse feed under the counter to the right of the fridge.
- Grab it.
- Head to the sliding doors and interact to open them.
- Step out to your doom.
- Go to the barn to feed the horses.
- Whoops. There are no horses.
- Next, you need to look for horses. If you turn you should see a red square with an exclamation mark on your HUD. Follow this, it’s easier than stumbling about in the dark.
- This takes you to the edge of the woods, where you foolishly go inside. Here, you need to follow the path deeper into the woods. We stuck to the left-hand path at forks.
- Eventually you’ll see another red square you need to aim for. This will lead you to the site where the horses have been… unhorsed. It’s pretty grim.
- Now you need to follow the path back again to the house.
- As you approach the house you might see something large and with wrong-looking limbs inside.
- It’s probably fine.
- You come into to find scratches all over the floor, and Henry starts gaslighting himself that maybe they were always there. They were not always there, Henry.
- Check around the house, then return to your room.
- Interact with the files to check them. You’re free to read what’s there if you want to.
Chapter 3

Now you’ve ready the folder, there are still some more secrets to uncover.
- Now you have a VHS tape that was included. Take it downstairs to the living room and interact with the TV to play it.
- The TV doesn’t work.
- Henry wants to use the spare TV in the basement.
- Henry why are you like this.
- Head into the hall, you’ll find the basement door straight ahead of you.
- Head down the stairs.
- Jumpscare time!
- After you deal with the mannequin, turn right and head to the TV.
- Interact to watch the VHS.
- Well. That was worrying.
- After this, Henry is tired, and still gaslighting himself, so it’s time to head to bed.
- Once you’re asleep you’re subjected to a 90s fever dream as you get to see Henry’s camping trip presentation, and all the unsettling things that happened. Seems like there’s more to all of this. At the end of the cutscene, try to shine your flashlight on the thing!
Chapter 4

Nearly at the end of this Mulberry County walkthrough now. Just a little longer. Hopefully Henry won’t get us killed.
- You wake up, and the smoke alarm is beeping.
- Head over to turn it off and… something reaches over and turns out the lights.
- Henry, every the optimist, shrugs it off and wants to head to the bathroom.
- The bathroom is the last door on the right.
- Head inside and interact with the toilet.
- As you’re taking care of that, you’ll head a noise and Henry will finally lock in.
- Hurry to the closet.
- What follows is a minigame you don’t need to win, and just as well, because we found it next to impossible. You need to hit the dots before they disappear to keep holding the door closed, but the dots get faster and faster until they disappear almost immediately. There is a badge for completing it, so it might be possible, but it’s definitely not easy.
- If you lose, the monster is ready to do the same thing to you it did to the horses, but is distracted by headlights. Your brother Chris is back.
- Head out of the house, avoiding the fire.
- Move towards the red square to find the car. No Chris.
- Henry assumes he’s in the cornfield, another banger of a suggestion on Henry’s part.
- Head into the cornfield. It’s a maze, though pretty easy to navigate. We did the ‘follow the left wall’ trick and it worked fine.
- Keep going towards the end of the maze. Eventually you’ll find something… and it’s not Chris.
- Cut to end cutscene.
Congratulations! You’ve completed Volume 1. Volumes 2 and 3 will follow in the future. If you like what that dev is doing, there’s an opportunity to donate to the project on the Store tab. Decided to throw a few Robux their way because, while we got a little frustrated with Henry’s life choices, the production values of the game, and the use of mixed media were really neat. We hope the developer keeps on with more content for it. We also hope you enjoyed this Mulberry County walkthrough, and found it helpful. If you’re eager to find some more similar games, we have a Roblox horror feature to help you find some quality titles.
