Shares of Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) fell up to 5% on Tuesday, May 26, in response to the company’s fourth quarter results that were reported after market hours on Monday.

CONCOR reported a 12.4% year-on-year drop in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter to ₹262.7 crore, compared with ₹299.8 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue fell 1.1% year-on-year to ₹2,263.3 crore from ₹2,287.8 crore a year earlier. EBITDA declined 3% to ₹427.5 crore from ₹440.6 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The EBITDA margin saw a marginal dip at 18.9% versus 19.3% a year ago.

CONCOR’s performance was dragged by the domestic business, where the revenue fell 4.5% from last year to ₹761 crore, while its Earnings Before Tax (EBIT) saw a sharp, 92% drop to ₹3.35 crore from ₹41.82 crore in the year-ago period. Margins for the segment declined to 0.4% from 5.2% earlier.

Revenue for the EXIM business grew by 0.8%, while EBIT grew 17.7% from the year-ago period. Margins also expanded to 23.4% from 20%. EXIM business did well despite the geopolitical headwinds.

The company’s board declared a final dividend of ₹1 per equity share of face value ₹5, equivalent to 20%, for FY26, subject to shareholder approval at the 38th annual general meeting. This is in addition to interim dividends of ₹1.60 per share (32%), ₹2.60 per share (52%), and ₹3.40 per share (68%) already paid during the year.

Shares of Container Corporation of India Ltd ended at ₹512.05, up by ₹6.25, or 1.24%, on the BSE today, May 25.
