Venus is traditionally in her detriment in her opposite sign. This means she is not functioning the way she’s “meant to”. Rather than compromise, attract and focus on the other this transit is about being uncompromisingly assertive, pursuing what you want and focusing on self.
Of course these are not negative manifestations but the idea of detriment clarifies the energy of this influence – consider doing the opposite of what is expected in Venus areas. Where you may have waited for someone to make the first move, you’re now encouraged to go for it. Where you may have been socially correct you’re now encouraged to compete or be impulsive.
Venus in Aries can be the push you need to put your raw and unfiltered happiness first. Sometimes it’s necessary to stop thinking about what you want and just reach for it. Sometimes a bit of competition boosts your chances of success.
Venus exits Aries on Mar 30th.
Uranus/Vesta is radical change in the physical realm that disrupts your focus in the intellectual realm. Loss, upgrades or detachment involving money, property, security or your body are happening on a subjective level but end up challenging an objective area of devotion. A social ideal, visions of the future, a technological fixation – in some way your complete attention in one or more of these areas is rattled by what’s happening to your physical foundation. Perhaps the ideal itself is challenged as you’re pushed to realign your perspective.
This reminds you that the body/your resources are not disconnected from the airy realm of future visions. Uranus rules Aquarius, which tells us the intellectual focus is stirring things up on the ground.
