
Accounting and business advisory firm HURST has strengthened its corporate finance and business services teams with two new hires. Abigail Kelly arrives as a manager, while Liam Victoros joins as an associate manager.

Headquartered in Stockport, HURST is a consulting firm specialising three core client segments – owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed enterprises and UK subsidiaries of overseas parent companies. With clients including S.J.M Concerts, Kinaxia Logistics, the Rugby Football League and Green Part Specialists, the national accountancy and business advisory firm which operates from 30 locations across the UK and Ireland, further strengthening the resources and expertise available to support clients across the UK and internationally.
HURST Corporate Finance’s team of M&A experts, supported by the wider firm’s business services, tax and digital teams, focuses on advising owner-managed companies and entrepreneurs on acquisitions, sales, debt funding and private equity investments with transaction values of between £5 million and £30 million. The business services team, which carries out audit, compliance, strategic advisory, outsourcing and business planning work for a growing national client base, is the largest at HURST with over 70 staff.
Abigail Kelly has joined HURST Corporate Finance as a manager, with extensive experience in regulatory advisory and transactional work, including public-to-private takeovers, IPOs, acquisitions, fundraises and complex corporate structures. She was previously with Cavendish, and BDO, where she trained and qualified as a chartered accountant and became a senior auditor focused on banking, alternative finance and financial services.
Liam Victoros meanwhile has become an associate manager in the business services team as an associate manager. Also arriving in the London office, he joins from Saffery, which he joined in 2023 as a fully-qualified senior auditor and was promoted to assistant manager last April, with a specialist focus on the audits of film, TV and video game companies.
