
Former EY Partner Maurice Harbison has joined Carlsquare. He brings more than two decades of experience to the role.

With around 70 deals per year, Carlsquare is one of the most active partner-led M&A advisory firms in Europe. The company specializes in technology and growth companies and employs around 180 people across 12 locations in eight countries.
Carlsquare’s business in the UK and Germany is growing even closer together. Harbison – an Irish-German national – further boosts the practices, and will be based in both Berlin and London. The tech deal expert has already advised on transactions with a total volume of over US$40 billion, including numerous cross-border deals.
He joins from EY‘s London office, where he was a partner in the technology corporate finance division. Prior to that, he was managing director at Bryan, Garnier & Co, responsible for transactions in Munich and London. He began his career at KPMG, before moving to NM Rothschild, followed by several senior roles in technology-focused mid-market consultancies.
