Mark Sambridge and Gareth Buckley have been named the heads of commercial with Cluttons. The move strengthens the asset advisory firm’s real estate offering, as well as its wider growth ambitions.

Cluttons employs more than 200 people across offices in the UK, providing a wide range of commercial and residential property services, including property management, valuation, corporate occupier services, estate agency and consultancy. It utilises proprietary portal technology and deep sector knowledge to provide clients with unique insights and innovative solutions to help them maximise returns on their assets.
Mark Sambridge has formerly led Cluttons’ work in helping clients use data to manage their property portfolios more effectively, from tracking performance across large estates to improving how decisions are made and operations run. His experience advising organisations on their long-term property strategies will underpin a more joined-up commercial offering.

Gareth Buckley meanwhile is a specialist in business rates, with extensive experience advising major companies and public sector bodies across the UK. He has a strong record of building expert advisory teams and helping clients navigate complex property tax and valuation challenges, experience that will broaden Cluttons’ capabilities for larger, multi-site clients.
The fellow joint head of commercial added, “There is huge potential across our commercial business. We have a great team of experts, already delivering on a wide range of projects. Our task is to provide clear direction, grow our market presence and build a strong, joined up commercial strategy for the future.”
The newly merged teams will develop an enhanced, data enabled and market focused commercial real estate offering. Under the new structure, Sambridge and Buckley will oversee all commercial sector activities including agency, investment, lease advisory, valuation, business rates, projects and building consultancy, commercial management and occupier services. These teams operate across the UK, with offices including London, Reading, Oxford, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow.
