Mike Cooper joins RSM as partner in tax wing

Mike Cooper has been made a partner in RSM’s UK corporate tax team. He will work to strengthen the audit and advisory firm’s capabilities as a go-to advisor on complex multinational projects for global clients.

For the 12 months until March 31st 2025, RSM saw its total UK revenues rise to £594 million – the highest ever. Part of that saw tax services expand by double digits – rising by over 13% to £183 million in the 2025 figures.

As RSM looks to build on this, Cooper will continue to focus on the listed market, working alongside colleagues in audit, tax and consulting to bring the full breadth of RSM’s offering to clients. He arrives at the firm having worked with numerous FTSE 100 and upper FTSE 250 listed companies across industries.

Cooper was most recently a partner with PwC, where he gained over 25 years of experience, including ten years as a partner. His expertise spans international corporate tax structuring, leading and delivering on complex cross-border projects and driving forward robust, long-term solutions in M&A, financing, intellectual property and business model transformation.
