RED Global acquires consulting firm LRB Group

RED Global has announced the acquisition of LRB Group. The move sees RED expand its presence in the US, with the purchase of the North Carolina-based consulting firm.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with Luke and welcome the LRB team into the RED Global family on their next phase of growth,” said Ross Eades, CEO of RED Global, “the team and business which was built and continues to grow in the Workday community is truly impressive and should be an immediate value-added service for our clients.”

Founded in 2000, RED Global is a technology solutions and workforce services business supporting organisations worldwide. Headquartered in London, the company operates across eight other offices, including Cologne, Delhi, Frankfurt, Munich, Rotterdam, Warsaw, Zurich and New Jersey.

Now, as RED Global celebrates its 25th year in business, the firm has announced its first acquisition to boost its US operations. RED has operated in North America since 2011, and has added LRB Group to help grow that footprint, amid rising client demand.

Launched in 2018 by CEO Luke Vasold, LRB Group is a certified Workday Partner providing project-based services for enterprise clients throughout implementation, optimisation and post-production phases. The acquisition bolsters RED Global’s Workday delivery capabilities to complement its foundation across enterprise application services. In addition, both teams expect to leverage shared service capabilities as part of a combined solutions offering.

“As we considered the next phase of growth for LRB, we wanted a partner with global infrastructure to broaden our reach while at the same time, a shared culture of commitment to client success,” added Vasold. “RED’s reputation and global footprint made this an obvious match – there’s a lot of opportunity across both platforms so we’re excited to take the next step.”

Eades concluded, “This partnership provides us with a platform to extend our reach and support more clients globally. LRB’s scale and presence in the Workday ecosystem complement our consulting-led approach and focus on delivery of exceptional outcomes.”

The acquisition aligns with RED’s growth strategy to expand both organically and through strategic acquisition across the US and Europe. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but RED added it will “continue to leverage LRB Group’s brand and status as a Workday Partner across its existing client base, combining consulting delivery with RED’s existing technology consulting and workforce solutions.”
