CEO advisory firm Teneo has announced the appointment of Serdar Cabuk as a senior managing director. Based in the London wing of its financial advisory business, he will support the global expansion of Teneo’s cybersecurity advisory capabilities.

The firm’s integrated cybersecurity advisory practice helps leadership teams manage cyber as a strategic business risk and navigate high-stakes events, including transactions and crises. It leverages expertise from across the firm, including the forensic, risk advisory, and strategy and communications teams.
Serdar will focus on building Teneo’s core cybersecurity capabilities in collaboration with the risk advisory team and bringing them to market across EMEA and other key markets globally. He will work with the broader leadership team to advise companies on addressing cyber risk.
He brings more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology and risk consulting, having held senior technical and leadership roles across the Big Four and IBM. Prior to Teneo, Serdar was the UK lead partner for risk consulting and energy consulting at KPMG and previously led the Nordic cyber business at Deloitte and the European security consulting business at IBM.
