XSEED Games, the independent publishing brand of Marvelous, has announced that the supernatural (un-)life sim Moonlight Peaks will launch in the Americas on July 7, 2026.
Previously revealed for Windows PC via Steam, the publisher confirmed that versions for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Google Play Games are also in development and will be released digitally on the same day as the PC edition. Pricing details will be shared at a later date.
Developed by Netherlands-based Little Chicken Game Company, Moonlight Peaks invites players to step out from Count Dracula’s shadow and build a softer, more compassionate undead existence.
A Vampire’s Fresh Start
In Moonlight Peaks, players take on the role of a vampire seeking a different destiny. Instead of embracing a dark legacy under Count Dracula’s looming expectations, the protagonist relocates to the Dracula family’s abandoned homestead in the magical town of Moonlight Peaks. There, they aim to cultivate not only crops but also a new way of life rooted in kindness, creativity, and community.
The town itself is filled with supernatural residents, including werewolves, witches, mermaids, and other creatures of the night. As players rebuild the haunted cottage and restore the farmstead, they’ll form friendships, uncover the history of the town’s seven families, and possibly even find eternal romance among more than two dozen eligible characters.
Farming, Magic, and a Touch of the Macabre
Blending cozy life-sim elements with gothic flair, Moonlight Peaks centers around restoring a forgotten farm into a magical sanctuary. Players can grow enchanted crops, raise mystical livestock, brew potions, embroider, arrange flowers, and even collect cards for the town’s favorite game, Nokturna.
Supernatural abilities also play a central role. Vampiric powers allow shapeshifting into other forms to explore the town more freely, while studying witchcraft unlocks spells that aid farming and resource gathering. Through these mechanics, players gradually bring light back to the spooky settlement just in time to retreat to their coffin before sunrise.
Moonlight Peaks will launch simultaneously across PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Google Play Games on July 7, 2026.
