Overwatch x NieR Automata Crossover Brings 2B and YoRHa Skins

A new crossover between Overwatch and NieR: Automata is introducing a lineup of themed skins inspired by the android warriors of the YoRHa project. The collaboration arrives as part of a major seasonal update and gives several heroes new cosmetics modeled after characters from the popular action RPG.

The crossover event, sometimes referred to as Project YoRHa, is scheduled to arrive on March 10 alongside a mid-season update that also includes balance changes and additional cosmetics.

The collaboration highlights how Blizzard continues to expand the game’s lineup of crossover cosmetics with designs based on recognizable characters from other franchises.

All Overwatch x NieR: Automata Skins

The collaboration features five heroes receiving skins inspired by the android soldiers and characters from the YoRHa storyline. These designs recreate iconic outfits from NieR while adapting them to each hero’s silhouette and weapon set.

The skins reinterpret the android aesthetic that made NieR: Automata famous, featuring black uniforms, mechanical accents, and glowing design elements inspired by the YoRHa units.

Release Date and Event Details

The crossover is launching during the Season 1 mid-season update for Overwatch, which goes live globally on March 10. Players will be able to download the patch ahead of time through a pre-load update on supported platforms.
