It’s becoming increasingly obvious that Sony is not playing around with poor quality software on the PS Store anymore.

The company’s delisted thousands of cash grabs this year alone, and this morning it’s swept away hundreds more.

News first emerged on PSNProfiles, but we’ve been able to corroborate the information. It looks like the catalogues of Welding Byte, GoGame Console Publisher, and VRCForge have all been wiped.

Some of the games removed include Jesus Simulator, Watermelon Fruits Puzzle, and Card Shop Game Store: TCG Simulator.

While none of these are as egregious as asset flip titles like The Jumping Hamburger, many of them look like knock-offs designed to deceive consumers.

For example, Welding Byte’s I Am Busy Digging a Hole is clearly intended to dupe players into thinking it’s A Game About Digging a Hole.

The real challenge for Sony is that it’s stuck in a never-ending battle here. For example, it may have removed Jesus Simulator now, but Jesus: The Journey launched last week.

It’s good to see it continuing to clean up the PS Store, then, but there’s a long way to go in this battle.
