Until now, only a small glimpse of the SUV has been revealed. The name and other details of the SUV have not been shared yet. However, it is expected that JSW will launch the Jetour T2 iDM as its first SUV in India.
According to reports, this JSW SUV could be launched with both petrol and hybrid technology. It could be based on a monocoque chassis. It could be equipped with a 26.7 kWh battery, which could provide a range of 139 kilometers.
JSW has partnered with Chinese automaker Chery to launch the SUV in India. Following this, the new plug-in hybrid SUV could be launched in India.
The manufacturer has not yet provided any information on this. However, it is expected that the new SUV will be launched with a two-liter plug-in hybrid engine and a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine. The turbo petrol engine will provide the SUV with 154 bhp and 220 Nm of torque. The plug-in hybrid engine will provide the SUV with 221 bhp and 390 Nm of torque.
This SUV will be manufactured in India by JSW. For this, the manufacturer is preparing to start a factory in Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra.
