US-based IT major Cognizant, which has a major presence in Chennai, has issued a cautionary advisory to all its employees.
In an internal communication reviewed by businessline, the company asked its associates to promptly report any security concerns or suspected incidents to its corporate security teams.
“Historically, developments of this nature are often followed by increased cyber activity, disinformation campaigns, and heightened concern from clients and stakeholders,” the message from John Wheeler, Chief Security Officer, read.
