The Sub Abilities in Bizarre Lineage not only unlock new moves for you, but also some useful passives. In my opinion, the best to unlock in Bizarre Lineage, by far, is the Vampire Sub Ability. If you equip a Fighting Style as well, you’ll surely beat battles with ease.
Bizarre Lineage Sub Abilities
When using Sub Abilities alongside Fighting Styles, you can become even stronger in Bizarre Lineage. Combining this with your Stand, you’ll breeze through combat, such as in Raids, Gang Wars, and more.
Vampire
How to Unlock
To unlock the Vampire Sub Ability, you need to use the Vampire Mask item. This essentially rejects your humanity, allowing you to turn into a vampire. For additional moves within the Sub Ability, you must speak to the Elder Vampire NPC and complete his quests. This NPC resides in DIO’s Chapel at the Graveyard, which you can get to easily by teleporting to Bus Stop 18.
Moves
Space Ripper Stingy Eyes
- Unleash fluid from your eyes, shooting towards the enemy to stun them. The pressure of the jet of fluid causes the enemy to get burned, too
Leeching Terror
- Grab your enemy by the throat and suck their blood, depleting their HP whilst replenishing your own
Flash Freeze
- Uppercut the enemy before freezing them. Then, smash into them, knocking them to the ground and stunning them
Passives
- You unlock a red meter (the Blood Bar), which grants bonus regen when filled
- Vampires have passive regen at all times (caps at +0.02 HP)
- The High Speed Regen buff from the Blood Bar meter, Vampire players gain +0.04 HP
The Ripple (Hamon)
How to Unlock
Speak with the Ancient Ghost NPC, whom you can visit by teleporting to Bus Stop 13. To unlock the other moves for The Ripple Sub Ability, you must revisit the Ancient Ghost for a new quest.
Moves
Sunlight Yellow Overdrive
- Your Hamon moves to your fists before you unleash a barrage of hits, stunning the enemy and making them vulnerable
- This move deals additional DMG to Vampires
Sendo Ripple Overdrive
- Your Hamon moves to your palm. You touch the ground to summon a wave of Hamon directly in front of you, stunning the enemy
- This move deals additional DMG to Vampires
Scarlet Overdrive
- Chanelling all of your Hamon into a single punch, you dash forward into the enemy, causing them to ragdoll and making them vulnerable
- This move deals additional DMG to Vampires
Passives
- You have a passive Regen ability, but it doesn’t replenish much
Half-Human Half-Machine (Cyborg)
How to Unlock
The required NPC is Rudol Von Stroheim, who stands close to Bus Stop 3. Like the other Sub Abilities, you need to complete a quest from this NPC to unlock all the Half-Human Half-Machine moves.
Moves
Ultraviolet Radiation Apparatus
- Fire ultraviolet light from your shoulders as you grab the enemy
- This move deals additional DMG to Vampires
Machine Gun
- A machine gun is equipped on your stomach, which you can use to fire bullets at the enemy, stunning them upon impact
Missile Volley
- Raise your arm and shoot out missiles directly in front of you. They detonate upon impact, stunning enemies
Passives
- The DEF of Cyborg players increases by 15%, reducing all incoming DMG
