Limited Run Games, in partnership with Marvel Games and Konami Digital Entertainment, has announced that Marvel Maximum Collection will launch digitally on March 27, 2026. The collection will be available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The announcement arrived during Game Developers Conference, revealing a superhero-packed compilation of classic Marvel titles pulled from the publisher’s retro catalog.
A Marvel Collection of Arcade Classics
Marvel Maximum Collection gathers several beloved Marvel titles into a single package, highlighted by the long-awaited home release of X-Men: The Arcade Game. Originally a fan-favorite arcade brawler, the game allows players to step into the roles of iconic heroes like Wolverine, Cyclops, and Storm as they battle Magneto’s forces in side-scrolling action.
The collection celebrates Marvel’s history in gaming by bringing together multiple classic experiences for modern platforms, giving longtime fans and newcomers the chance to revisit these retro adventures.
Physical Editions and Pre-Orders
Alongside the digital launch, physical editions will also be available. Pre-orders for the Standard Edition begin on March 27 and will remain open until May 24, giving collectors a limited window to secure a copy.
The Standard Edition physical release for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X includes several collectible items designed for fans of classic game packaging. These include a foil cover sheet, a printed manual, and a sprite-themed sticker sheet inspired by the games included in the collection.
Marvel Maximum Collection launches digitally on March 27, with physical editions available for pre-order the same day.
