Lucknow recently witnessed an academic event in orthopedic surgery with the successful completion of the first India Anterior Hip Foundation course (IAHF-2026) held on 14–15 March 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Lucknow. The two-day programme brought together leading orthopedic surgeons, international faculty members, and young specialists from across India with the shared objective of advancing expertise in the Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) for hip replacement surgery.
Organised by the Joint Care Foundation under the leadership of noted joint replacement surgeon Dr. Sourav Shukla, the course focused on strengthening surgical proficiency through structured academic discussions, skill-based modules, and hands-on training sessions.
