
Tata Motors, one of India’s leading automakers, offers vehicles across multiple segments. The manufacturer recently conducted a crash test on the Tata Sierra. The Tata Sierra is a mid-size SUV that was launched in November 2025. The vehicle was recently crash-tested, and BNCAP has shared the results of the vehicle’s safety performance.
According to the report released by BNCAP, this SUV received a full five points for safety. The special thing is that this SUV has been given this rating for both adults and children.
In the crash test conducted by NCAP for India, the Tata Sierra scored 15.14 points for the front crash and 16 points for the side movable test, resulting in an overall score of 31.14 out of 32.

The test also shows how safe the vehicle is for children. The vehicle scored 23.73 points for the dynamic part, 12 points for CRS installation, and 9 points for the VAS test, resulting in an overall child safety score of 44.73 out of 49.
India NCAP has informed that the crash test of this SUV was conducted in February 2026, after which the results have now been released.
Tata has provided safety features like six airbags, 20 Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), ESP, traction control system, hill-hold assist, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear wiper and washer, rear defogger, ISOFIX child anchorage in this SUV.
Tata has launched the Sierra at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 11.49 lakh. The top variant of this SUV is priced at Rs 18.49 lakh ex-showroom.
