BFY Group appoints Neal Edmondson as Client Director for its Water business

Neal Edmondson brings extensive experience across the water value chain, having held senior roles at Yorkshire Water and most recently serving as Director of Clients & Partnerships at Aqua Consultants. In his latter role, he oversaw growth strategy and commercial development across major accounts.

In his new role at BFY Group, an employee-owned management consultancy from Nottingham, Edmondson will focus on expanding the firm’s portfolio of clients and projects in the water sector.

Hewett added that Edmondson’s arrival comes at a timely moment, with the UK’s water sector on the brink of major structural and policy changes. This includes a huge investment programme of about £104 billion up to 2030 for infrastructure, water security and environmental improvements, the introduction of tougher environmental standards for sewage spills, leakage and river quality, and tighter regulatory oversight of company finances and governance.
