Bluey’s Happy Snaps is bringing Bluey’s world to games later in 2026, with Gameloft announcing a new family adventure headed to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo platforms.

Developed by Gameloft Brisbane in collaboration with Ludo Studio and BBC Studios, the game centers on photography, exploration, and local co-op play. The setup is simple and smart: Bluey and Bingo find Bandit’s old camera, then head out on a family trip where players explore familiar places, take pictures, and fill out scrapbooks.

A Bluey game built around photos and exploration

In Bluey’s Happy Snaps, players use the camera to move through Bluey’s family home and a range of recognizable locations around Brisbane. Along the way, they can snap photos, collect stickers and decorations, and build a scrapbook tied to their trip.

That feels like the right fit for Bluey. Instead of forcing the series into something louder or more complicated, the game seems built around the same everyday curiosity and small family moments that make the show work. It also gives younger players a clear and approachable goal without overcomplicating things.

Familiar Bluey locations make the jump to games

Gameloft says the game includes several fan-favorite locations from the show, some appearing in video game form for the first time. Players will be able to visit places tied to episodes like Ice Cream, Spy Game, and The Sign, with areas like South Bank, The Park, and the lookout all making an appearance.

Those spaces are filled with Australian wildlife as well, including lorikeets, koalas, and other animals players can photograph. That should give Bluey’s Happy Snaps a little more life than a straightforward tie-in game built only around basic minigames.

Local co-op looks like a big part of the appeal

One of the stronger details here is the game’s local co-op support. Two players can play side by side as Bluey and Bingo, with one handling the camera while the other joins in by posing and interacting with the world.

That seems like one of the better ideas in the game. A Bluey title should work for kids and parents together, and Bluey’s Happy Snaps appears built around that from the start. Gameloft says the game was created by a team of parents, and the structure reflects that in a way that at least makes sense on paper.

A premium Bluey game with no online play or microtransactions

Gameloft also confirmed that Bluey’s Happy Snaps is a premium release with no in-game purchases and no online play. For a family game aimed at younger kids, that is probably the right call.

The game also includes “Play for Real Life” activities, which are meant to push some of the experience beyond the screen and give families ideas for real-world play. That could easily turn into empty branding, but it lines up with what Bluey usually does well, so it at least feels on-theme.

A better fit for Bluey than the usual licensed game

The biggest positive here is that Bluey’s Happy Snaps sounds like it understands the series. It is not trying to turn Bluey into an action game or a noisy minigame bundle. It is aiming for something slower, more playful, and more family-focused.

That does not guarantee it will be good, but it is the right starting point. For a Bluey game, that already puts it in a better place than most licensed projects.

Bluey’s Happy Snaps launches later in 2026 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. A physical release is also planned for select platforms through Bandai Namco Entertainment.
