How about we move over to the other desert that Pearl Abyss makes for a little while, shall we? You know, the MMORPG one? We’re talking Black Desert on PC, obviously, which is in the headlines for some PvE-centric updates available in its Global Lab public test server.
As is very often the case for Global Lab patch notes, all of the more salient details are in Korean, but in general terms the build brings PvE buffs certain class skill combos as well as buffs for skills with long cast times. Other features in the PTS build are an increase to the max sale price for several crafted items, some better rewards for slaying the world bosses Vell and Garmoth, and the removal of some older quests.
As for the live game, last week brought adjustments to classes, the removal of Godr-Ayed weapons, changes to ship attack damage to account for shoreline bombardment tactics in node and conquest wars, and a host of UI quality-of-life updates. Lastly of note for the PC version of the MMORPG is the looming NA vs. EU esports tournament that will begin on April 25th, with the finale scheduled for the game’s Heidel Ball event. Signups are still open until April 16th and the bracket will be announced on April 21st.
Meanwhile over on Black Desert Mobile, the opening of its own PTS has been rescheduled to April 14th while a new event that requires the use of stamina is on tap for March 31st; presumably Pearl Abyss means the in-game resource and not actual physical stamina.
