BRIC-NII PhD admission 2026: BRIC-National Institute of Immunology (NII) has invited applications for its PhD programme for the Monsoon Session 2026-27, offering opportunities in interdisciplinary research areas including immunology, infectious and chronic disease biology, molecular and cellular biology, chemical biology, structural biology and computational biology. The institute, operating under BRIC, continues its focus on advanced biological research spanning multiple domains of life sciences.
Eligible candidates should be having a Master’s Degree or 4-year B.Sc./B.Tech. or any other equivalent qualification in science and technology, M.V.Sc., MBBS recognized under the regulations of Regional Center for Biotechnology, securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade points average, with 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to OBC NCL, SC, ST, PwD and EWS category, as per relevant rules, and should have a valid 5-year research fellowship from UGC, CSIR, ICMR, DBT, or any other government recognized body.
Procedure for selection and schedule of interview
The selection of the eligible candidates will be done through an interview round conducted offline at BRIC-NII campus, New Delhi. Shortlist of candidates will be notified on 11 May 2026 on the official website and notice board of the institute. Offline interviews will be conducted from 8 to 12 June 2026. Accommodation facility could be arranged for outstation candidates for a period of one day at minimal charges.

Application process and important dates
The application has to be made online through BRIC-NII website. The last date for submission of applications shall be from 10 April 2026 to 30 April 2026. Fee Rs. 600 for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs. 300 for OBC NCL/SC/ST/PwD and EWS categories respectively. The Fee once paid is Non Refundable. Candidate’s Name and DOB should correspond with the Secondary School Certificate. Programme structure, reservations and campus details
The PhD programme starts 6th July 2026. Laboratory Allocation & Thesis Supervisor Allocation done by 10th July 2026. Programme Details Candidates selected will be registered under affiliation with Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad, Haryana. Candidates should immediately activate JRF fellowship. Campus details Candidates have common hostels in residential campus. Reservation Details 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC NCL, 5% for PwD and 10% for EWS
