Orbán acknowledged the loss, calling the outcome “painful but clear.” His defeat also carries weight beyond Hungary. Volodymyr Zelenskyy welcomed the result and signaled openness to working with Hungary’s new leadership, calling it an opportunity to strengthen cooperation across Europe.
For now, the focus shifts to how quickly Magyar can turn campaign promises into action — and whether this political shift leads to lasting change both at home and within the EU.
