Following a record set of financial results, Analysys Mason has installed a new leadership team. Mark Billige, Fredrik Lind, Alessandro Ravagnolo, Ludwig Preller, Oli Barnett, Fiona Glennon, Rohan Dhamija and David Abecassis will now lead the firm’s new corporate strategy and growth ambition.
Established in 1985 as a specialist in telecoms research and advisory, Analysys Mason has since grown to support an array of clients in the TMT landscape: technology, media, and telecom. Delivering change across strategic, regulatory, technology, transaction and transformation initiatives, the consultancy now counts itself as a trusted partner of enterprises, operators, government authorities and investors across over 100 countries.
This position has helped the firm out-flank the wider consulting industry – which is experiencing a protracted period of slower, single-digit expansion – to hit 17% growth for its latest financial year. According to Analysys Mason, the record-breaking year saw its revenues reach £76 million – delivering over 600 projects to clients in the process.
Expansive plans
Driving the expansion was a recruitment drive – again contrary to many of the sector’s largest players – which has increased its overall headcount to 430. Meanwhile, promotions for 125 consultants and analysts has strengthened its leadership team – with key appointments in France, Germany, Sweden and Britain.
As the firm looks to reward its employees for their hard work, this has also seen the elevation of a number of senior figures to Analysys Mason’s top table. Mark Billige was announced as new CEO in November 2025, and since then, the company has announced plans to build on its current momentum and grow the business substantially in the next decade.
Plans involve evolving the firm’s propositions to provide clients with end-to-end support for emerging tech-enabled transformations and AI, from strategy through transactions to transformation. The firm also wants to strengthen the link between its consulting and research offerings, and embed AI and data into its core operations.
At the same time, Analysys Mason will expand into technology‑intensive industries, including telecoms, digital infrastructure, software, IT services, space, defence, manufacturing and logistics.
New leaders
Central to its ambition will be a new senior team appointed to support Billige. Analysys Mason has installed Fredrik Lind as head of Europe and strategy; Alessandro Ravagnolo and Ludwig Preller as co-heads of the firm’s transaction practice; Oli Barnett as head of transformation; Fiona Glennon as head of research; David Abecassis as head of corporate development; and Rohan Dhamija as head of Asia and the Middle East.
Speaking on the appointments, CEO Billige said, “We enter the new financial year with strong momentum and a clear plan to accelerate growth. By sharpening our identity as specialists in technology-intensive industries, expanding into new sectors, investing in AI and scaling globally, we are well placed to support clients’ highest stakes decisions.”
