Shueisha Games has announced that Schrödinger’s Call will launch on May 28, 2026, for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The publisher also released a Chapter 1 preview trailer and confirmed that a free Chapter 1 demo is available now on Steam.
The narrative adventure, developed by Acrobatic Chirimenjako, uses picture book-inspired visuals to tell a story about grief, memory, and human connection.
A Story Set 21 Nanoseconds Before the End
Schrödinger’s Call follows Mary, a girl who wakes up in a strange room with no memory of herself or how she got there. With a mysterious cat named Hamlet as her guide, Mary answers calls from strangers in the final 21 nanoseconds before the moon crashes into Earth.
Each call shares a different story of love, regret, pain, and words left unsaid, while slowly revealing more about Mary’s own past.

BitSummit Punch Will Feature Chapter 3 Demo
Schrödinger’s Call will also appear at BitSummit Punch from May 22-24 in Kyoto. Attendees can visit the Shueisha Games booth to play an exclusive Chapter 3 build ahead of launch.
The booth will also feature a live performance with Kana Ichinose as Mary and Rei Sakuma as Hamlet. The two voice actors also appear in the Japanese Chapter 1 preview trailer, though their performances are only for promotional materials and are not included in the game.
Schrödinger’s Call launches May 28 on Steam and Nintendo Switch.
