Azets has recruited a new partner. Sarah Palmer joins the firm’s Leeds office, and will work with clients across the country.
Azets is an international business advisory group, with 9,000 local experts in 190 locations across eight countries. In Yorkshire, the firm operates with around 335 people and offices in Leeds, York and Bradford.
New Leeds-based partner Palmer brings 17 years of experience to her new role. She arrives from PwC where she led complex audits for medium to large private, private equity-backed and internationally owned entities.
Palmer has experience in a broad range of sectors and counts retail and manufacturing as a specialist interest, delivering insight alongside practical, hands-on support.
Working as an audit and assurance partner, Palmer will work with clients of Azets to deliver high-quality services, underpinned by trusted relationships, to help clients grow and manage increasing regulatory demands.
Commenting on her new challenge, she added, “I am thrilled to join the superb audit and assurance team at Azets. My collaborative and relationship-driven approach matches the firm’s own values and commitment to delivering high-quality services and the best outcomes through a genuine understanding of each client’s business, challenges and ambitions.
“I‘m looking forward to helping clients navigate expansion, change and compliance with confidence while playing my part in the growth of Azets.”
Claire Needham, regional managing director for Yorkshire, said, “A very warm welcome to Sarah. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise built over many years delivering exceptional audit and assurance services for a diverse range of businesses. I am confident that she will make a major contribution to the continued success of our expanding audit team in Yorkshire and the UK.”
