The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan has announced that the moon for Ramadan 1447 AH has been sighted in various parts of the country.

According to the committee, Thursday, 19 February 2026, will be observed as the first day of Ramadan across Pakistan. As a result, the first Taraweeh prayers will be offered tonight (Wednesday evening) in mosques nationwide.
