Holloway hasn’t played for St. Louis since Jan. 18 against the Edmonton Oilers. In that contest, he was returning from a 15-game absence forced by a high-ankle sprain, but had to go back on the IR after playing 12:45 in a 5-0 loss.
The 24-year-old has eight goals and nine assists over 34 games for the Blues this season.
Holloway delivered a breakout performance the year prior, scoring 26 goals in 77 games after signing with St. Louis as a restricted free agent from the Edmonton Oilers.
Entering Thursday’s action last in the Central Division with a 20-28-9 record, the Blues are poised to be a team to watch in the lead-up to next Friday’s trade deadline.
