Mars/Saturn will slow you down but the decreased pace can be used to enhance focus, build patience and strengthen commitment.
Here is the rule that demands extra effort. The conjunction means something begins and the union of action and limits means it will progress slowly but will also be solid (if you make the effort). You’ll have to accept certain realities- the way forward will involve restricted freedoms. But this is how you strengthen your resilience and channel your initiative.
This aspect is about doing things yourself – independence means it’s all on you but also you’re the boss.
It should be noted that Mars/Saturn aspects can sometimes indicate cruelty – anger and violence are used to assert control. Not a guarantee, but something to watch for.
Taurus is the sign of survival and self-sufficiency, so the beginning of this season goes well with Mars/Saturn. Sun in deliberate, slow-moving Taurus focuses purpose on what’s best for you – take care of your physical resources (including your body) and develop confidence in yourself. You’re reminded that the basics (food, health, security) are where you need to start if you want to progress – your foundation must be strong and this doesn’t have to be complicated.
As the Earth sign that’s most strongly associated with nature, Taurus season encourages you to get outside and “touch grass”, even if you’re not an outdoors person. The simple act of standing on the earth and silently appreciating what’s around you can act as a reset for your mind and body. Again, nothing complicated- do what feels peaceful and pulls you back into yourself.

When combined with Mars/Saturn, you might experience today as an obvious shift into low gear. Use the decreased momentum to concentrate on your immediate reality. Taurus does have an indulgent side – surviving progresses to thriving via fertility, ripeness, financial abundance, sensual pleasures.
