Moon conjunct Jupiter (17 deg)
The Moon’s challenging squares to Saturn and Mars can stir up some very tense issues. There’s a mix of repression/neediness (you’re not allowed to express your feelings and you’re unsupported/uncomfortable) and sudden surges of anger/irritability. Saturn carries more weight so you’ll be struggling with restrictions on that anger and perhaps accusations of immaturity and moodiness.
And then Mercury delivers a crisis of sensitive feelings vs blunt communication: words are bruising and you take everything personally.
It’s enough to make you want to detach from everything because the emotions are just too difficult. But the Moon is strongest in the sign she rules so these issues can’t be ignored. Sensitivity is not something to be squashed down. Moods are not meant to be ruthlessly controlled. If you feel something, it’s valid. It may not always be appropriate to let loose with tears or tantrums but these issues are not coming out of the void – pay attention to what they’re telling you.
Fortunately, it ends on a very positive note with the Moon/Jupiter conjunction. Here’s the influence that makes all of the above ok. Maybe someone gives you a big hug and reassures you. Or, you find the confidence within yourself to be sensitive/needy/nurturing/moody/nostalgic (maybe all at once) without judgement, without censure. You’re crying the happy tears, you’re curling up, you’re acting out, you’re acting like a child, you’re acting like a mother. You’re just going with whatever’s right in the moment because you’ve found the space (or you’ve made the space) to be safe and open and vulnerable.
And it’s good, maybe even euphoric, like a cathartic crying session or letting loose with messy sentiments you’ve been keeping to yourself. The more you feel, the better you feel.
