It’s time to choose and the electric shot of truth or unusual piece of info makes it impossible to put this off. The past (South Node) with its insistence on precision, flaws and practical logic is outdated but familiar so you might try to fall back on it.
But Uranus demands updates – this planet represents the future. So there’s really no way to go but forward (North Node). As a response to this truth/surprise, allow yourself to release the old standards of perfection. Toss out the critiques and embrace a new way of learning. Some solutions may fail and methods of organizing/categorizing will fall apart. Let it happen – you’re making room for a new mindset.
Any square to the Nodes is a karmic issue so this can be a matter you’ve been dealing with for awhile. Your attempts to control fast-moving news/a shocking other side (to a person/situation) are not making sense any longer so stop trying to rationalize, fix, neaten things up. Accept the duality and let the torrent of news flow – trust that your intuition will correctly identify what you need to know and what’s correct. Keep in mind that what’s correct now and in the future will look nothing like what came before.
Ultimately, this is freeing albeit less certain. You will have to deal with shades of grey in the future as two truths jostle for room in your life.
Since we are dealing with the planet of surprise, it’s also possible that you’ll be hit with the thing you never saw coming. The explosive messenger, the part of yourself you’ve been repressing, the bizarre, external decision that’s wrong and that’s the point – your carefully curated certainties are meant to be disrupted by a humungous mistake that pushes you on to a brand new path that you would never have travelled, if not for this.
Sometimes the “mistake” is perfect timing in disguise.
