Dear friends,
There’s a New Moon in Taurus set to bloom this weekend . . . and a New Moon Manifestation Circle Webinar on Friday evening. Hope to see you there!
The Sun and Moon will meet up at 25 degrees, 57 minutes Taurus on Saturday, May 16th at 4:00 PM Eastern US time.
In their New Moon conjunction, these two Lights are also tightly conjunct both Ceres and Mercury, and all of them are hovering over Algol, the fixed star of beheading. It’s a tense, fraught, volatile energy; add to this the facts that the Taurus Moon this month is out-of-bounds and that she (with her many Taurus siblings) is answering to an out-of-bounds Venus in Gemini. We can expect big leaps forward with regard to our long-cherished desires and creative goals. We can also expect to be called on to let go of what no longer serves us. “And the day came,” wrote Anais Nin, “when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through.” This is one of those moments when we FEEL the transformation most intensely. Let it flow!
When the New Moon chart is cast for Washington, DC (see image below!) we find an Ascendant of 6 degrees Libra . . . giving even MORE importance to the out-of-bounds Goddess of Love. Look out, here she comes in all her glory: how consistently have YOU been serving her?
The personal planets are all intensely active in this chart, with Mars at 28 degrees Aries forming a collaborative sextile to his Beloved at 27 degrees Gemini, and both of them forming semisextiles to Mercury at 28 Taurus. Did you hear? The word is spreading; the whispers are getting louder and more insistent.
In the webinar on Friday, we’ll also be discussing the Finger of God formed by Pluto and Juno in Aquarius on the one hand; the trio of Vesta, Neptune, and Pallas on the other; and the South Node of Fate at the apex. Release, release, release. Let go of clutter in your home, let go of relationships with icky power dynamics, so that you can get down to the business of your real life’s work.
If you’d like to learn more about the Taurus New Moon chart, please join me on Friday, May 15th at 7:30 PM Eastern US time for a deep-dive into the energy and how it shows up in YOUR natal chart. For those who can’t make it, the recordings and slides will be sent out to all who registered, and also made available to purchase on the following day.
It’s a powerful time for planting new seedlings and pulling up old weeds! What are you choosing for your garden, and what are you un-planting since the last time around? Too much zucchini, too few tomatoes; and how about some sunflowers for the summer?
Big hugs,
Anne
