North Highland has installed a new global CEO. Anthony Shaw will be the firm’s first ever UK-based head, following his succession of Alex Bombeck.
North Highland is a global management consulting firm known for helping clients solve their most complex challenges related to customer experience, performance improvement, technology and digital, and transformation. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the US origin firm has more than 2,800 consultants and over 65 offices around the globe. It is also member of Cordence Worldwide, a global management consulting alliance.
Four the last four years, the firm has been helmed by Alex Bombeck – but Shaw will take the reins now, transitioning from his role as CEO for the EMEA region. Under his leadership there, the UK, South Africa and Middle East businesses expanded significantly, earning 18 ratings of gold or higher in the latest Consultancy.uk industry rankings, along with recognition in the Financial Times UK Leading Management Consultants report in six consecutive years, and securing a win and multiple short-listings at the prestigious Management Consultancies Association Awards.

Looking ahead, in his new role, Shaw will lead North Highland’s global operations with a clear set of priorities: deepening the Firm’s customer relationships, investing in the culture where people are energised to do their best work, and ensuring North Highland is at the forefront of AI and emerging ways of working. North Highland’s position is that AI doesn’t just change the tools organisations use, it changes the work itself, and Shaw will be responsible for ensuring customers and the firm are building operating models designed for that reality.
