
Deloitte has appointed Hammad Rafique as its new Managing Partner for Technology & Transformation, effective 1 June. In his new role, he will also represent Technology & Transformation on the firm’s Executive.
Hammad Rafique is a senior partner at Deloitte with more than two decades of experience in management consulting, primarily focused on the insurance sector. He has extensive experience delivering large-scale business and IT transformation programmes, as well as value-led change across complex client environments.
He began his consulting career in 2000 and has since built deep expertise across life, general insurance, and London market segments. Over the course of his career, he has led major systems integration and end-to-end transformation programmes, helping insurers modernise their operating models and technology platforms.
Prior to joining Deloitte, he spent 17 years at Accenture, where he grew the ranks to Managing Director, advising leading insurance clients on strategic, operational and technology transformation.
At Deloitte, Rafique has held several senior leadership roles, including Head of Insurance Consulting and since 2024, Head of Technology & Transformation within the Financial Services industry group.
