London-headquartered consultancy Gate One has launched a new presence in the North-West of England. The office in Manchester is the firm’s first outside of the capital.
Launched in 2013, Gate One is a digital and business transformation consultancy. Amid heightened demand for support with digital transformations – and buoyed by investment from Havas – the firm has been able to grow rapidly across Europe and North America, to serve its growing customer base.
While Gate One now has offices in Ireland, India, the US, and France, however, it has never launched a second presence in the UK itself. That changes now, with the news that the firm is opening its first office outside of London, with a new Manchester base.
Located in the Manchester Havas village, the new office deepens Gate One’s relationship with the global communications group, while also reflecting a commitment to working closer to its existing clients. As many major organisations continue to expand or relocate activity to the North-West, Gate One will now be able to offer local services to the companies turning to the growing tech-cluster.
“As someone who was born and grew up in Manchester, this is an incredibly exciting moment,” said Ben Tye, Managing Partner, Gate One. “Manchester has long been a hub of innovation, creativity and growth, and opening our first UK regional office here reflects both our ambition for the UK and our commitment to building a more inclusive, representative consultancy. I look forward to working with our Manchester team to develop Gate One’s long-term commitment to delivering meaningful, lasting transformation for clients.”
Headed up by Client Director Emma Bentley, the Manchester office will be home to an initial team of five consultants with active recruitment underway to significantly grow in size over the coming months. The team brings public sector experience alongside the full breadth of Gate One’s business and digital transformation expertise – while the expansion also supports the consultancy’s ambition to attract and retain diverse talent across the UK, delivering on its Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) priorities.
“Opening our Manchester office is a strategic milestone for Gate One. It enables us to work even more closely with our clients and partners across the region, while tapping into Manchester’s incredible energy and depth of talent. As a natural next step in our UK growth, this expansion allows us to partner with organisations across the North to shape strategy, deliver complex transformation programmes and build the capabilities required for sustainable, long-term growth,” said Bentley.
