Award-winning accountancy, tax and advisory firm HaysMac has acquired Green Square. Adding 13 staff to HaysMac’s UK operations, Green Square will extend its corporate finance capacity.
Formally known as HaysMacIntyre, HaysMac is celebrating its 25th anniversary since founding in 2001. Marking a quarter century in business, the London-headquartered firm also boasts a presence in Cape Town, South Africa, and hosts more than 600 employees, partners and directors across its operations.
As it strengthens for the next 25 years, the firm has undertaken a series of acquisitions. Earlier in 2026, HaysMac arrived in the US, with the acquisition of Moore DM’s Stateside tax team – bolstering its international tax compliance offering and enhancing its private client tax team to provide seamless cross-border support for entrepreneurs, business owners, and high net worth individuals.
Now, HaysMac has followed that up with the purchase of Green Square – a specialist corporate finance advisory firm with a reputation for delivering M&A advice to founders, management teams and shareholders. The acquisition further strengthens HaysMac’s corporate finance capability and supports its long-term strategy to help ambitious, growth-focused businesses and their owners respond to change.
