Broadstone appoints Jordan Ring to strengthen its employee benefits consulting team. Her appointment strengthens Broadstone’s capability in delivering tailored health and protection strategies, particularly in the private medical insurance market.

Recent years have seen the UK’s National Health Service underfunded and inadequately staffed – leading to extended waiting lists and over-crowded wards. With the legacy of the Covid-19 pandemic also putting pressure on those services, citizens who can afford to pay for healthcare have increasingly been going private to expedite their care – with employees also favouring employers that include private healthcare in their benefits packages.
Founded in 1989, Broadstone is an actuarial consulting firm which is home to more than 500 consultants and administrators. The firm advises over 1,000 clients in pensions, employee benefits and investments decisions. Recently, it has been expanding its insurance advisory services – and in 2025, it sealed the acquisition of ExactVal, a move which will boost its specialist expertise in the sector sector.
Now, Jordan Ring will help boost the firm’s employee benefits consulting experience in the private medical insurance (PMI) market. Bringing over 16 years of experience in the employee benefits sector, she built a strong foundation at The Health Insurance Group, where she spent nine years developing specialist capabilities in PMI. She subsequently spent seven years at Towergate as a senior employee benefits consultant.
In her new role at Broadstone, Ring will focus on delivering client-centric health and wellbeing solutions that go beyond traditional benefits provision. Working closely with SME and mid-market clients, she will support the design and delivery of strategies aligned to workforce needs and long-term organisational goals. Her appointment demonstrates Broadstone’s continued investment in its Employee Benefits Consulting division as employer demand rises for specialist advice across health, protection and workplace wellbeing.
