Professional services firm Crowe has announced the appointment of its new chief executive for the UK. Mitesh Patelia will succeed Nigel Bostock, after the best part of a decade at the head of the firm.
Nigel Bostock became the CEO of what was then known as Crowe Clark Whitehill in 2017, after four years as managing partner at the firm. Bostock has long surpassed three decades of service with the firm, and has been a partner for more than two decades.
In the nine years since ascending to the top job, Bostock has overseen a range of major changes at the company – including its rebranding to Crowe, as the UK member of the global Crowe network. He will continue to work with the firm as a partner, having decided the time was right to step down as CEO – and will now work to ensure his successor enjoys a smooth transition.
Bostock said, “I have been very fortunate and appreciative to have had the opportunity to lead this firm. The talent at Crowe has always been and will continue to be exceptional. We have a culture where values are truly lived and where our people, clients and the firm are given opportunities to thrive. I thank all our partners and people, present and past for their hard work, contribution, support and dedication; it is something I will always cherish and value.”
Looking ahead, Mitesh Patelia steps into the role of CEO. Taking on the role from the start of July 2026, he has served Crowe for 18 years – having joined in 2008. He became a partner in its corporate finance wing as of 2017, while more recently has worked as head of advisory, and chair for the supervisory board.
Patelia added, “I am honoured to have been appointed to lead the firm. I have seen Crowe grow and evolve immeasurably over the years. That progress is a direct result of the talent, dedication and commitment of our people and the exceptional teams we have. I look forward to working with each of them as we continue to build on our firm’s success. Throughout his tenure, Nigel has balanced sustainable growth with a strong focus on clients, people and quality, and navigated us safely through the pandemic’s challenging times.”
