NERA experts to share insights at London International Disputes Week

The 2026 London International Disputes Week will feature expert testimony from a wide range of consulting firms. Among them is NERA Economic Consulting, which will co-host three sessions at the global event.

London International Disputes Week (LIDW) is a forum which aims to explore and contribute to the future of international dispute resolution – as well as celebrating London as a leading centre for handling the resolution of international disputes.

Helping to do that at the 2026 event – taking place in the first week of June – are a large number of professional services firms, including NERA Economic Consulting.

In 2026, NERA is celebrating 65 years of providing clients with economics, expertise, and experience. Since 1961, the firm has helped supply guidance on the most important market, legal, and regulatory questions of the day, shaping policy around the world.

At LIDW, NERA will continue this legacy by co-hosting a series of expert-led sessions addressing the economic, valuation, and damages issues that increasingly define complex international disputes. Across litigation, competition, ESG, and tax, these sessions bring together leading lawyers and economists to explore practical insights at the intersection of law and economics.

Sessions include discussing carbon offsets and corporate carbon neutrality claims, with a seminar led by NERA Senior Managing Director George Anstey, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Of Counsel Louise Barber and Partner Craig Tevendale,  South Pole General Counsel Kushal Bhimjiani, and Marsh Carbon Credits Senior Advisor Lara Whitmore.

Elsewhere, NERA Senior Managing Director Grant Saggers and Monckton Chambers Barrister Kassie Smith will present examples of techniques used by leading competition barristers, economists, and solicitors – showing how competition law and economics can enhance an international dispute resolution toolkit.

NERA Senior Managing Director Emmanuel Llinares and Managing Director Amanda Pletz, Pinsent Masons Partners Jake Landman and Sylvia Tonova, Maisto e Associati Partner Professor Guglielmo Maisto, and Temple Tax Chambers Barrister Jonathan Schwarz will explore the evolving landscape of international tax disputes and the practical considerations when resolving cross‑border tax controversies.

Other partners of London International Disputes Week include platinum sponsor EY; gold sponsors Ankura, Berkeley Research Group, FTI Consulting, HKA and Teneo; and silver sponsors Alvarez & Marsal and J.S. Held.
