As promised, Dune Awakening’s 1.3.15.0 update has arrived this morning with the new base recycling system.
“[The base recycling feature] refunds 100% of materials and items stored in a base blueprint within the Base Backup Tool,” Funcom says in its patch notes. “You can back up and recycle multiple bases to recover spent materials. To recycle your base, back it up, then hold the X key. A pop-up will explain the process. Confirm to recycle the base, and a confirmation pop-up will appear.”
The patch also includes tweaks to augmented weapons, mnemonic recollection charges, overland map drops, the Rift Recon Run Landsraad Mission flying route, and that annoying party HUD duplication issue.
What doesn’t it have? The PvE/PvP split-up and self-hosting options Funcom mentioned last week. The latter has no date yet, but the former is expected in patch 1.3.20.0, which conveniently entered testing this afternoon.
Patch 1.3.20.0 is now available in the PTC!This includes the introduction of PvE and PvP Deep Desert instances, changes to Testing Station bosses and loot, and more.Read more about this and the rest of the patch notes here: https://duneawakening.com/news/public-test-client-patch-1-3-20-0/
