Sony has EA FC 26 as its headlining addition for May 2026, which is the latest football simulator from EA Sports. You get the current football season, along with all the usual modes and Ultimate Team in this base version coming to PS5 and PS4 owners. In our 7/10-rated review, we said it should appeal to everyone.
Next up is Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, a Soulslike PS5 effort that launched last year. While its gameplay was solid at launch, it was plagued with performance issues. These were looked at during post-launch updates, but it’s not clear what state the game is in as of today. It got a 6/10 at release.
Rounding out the selection for next month is Nine Sols, which is a brutal but excellent Metroidvania. “Nine Sols will test you, but the atmosphere is stunning, the combat is thrilling, and the story is a fascinating mix of mysticism and sci-fi — so you’ll meet the challenge happily. This is the best Metroidvania out there right now. Don’t miss it,” we urged at the time, and rated it 9/10.
