Have you ever wanted to visit the lands of your favorite MMORPGs in real life? For fans of MapleStory, they actually have that opportunity thanks to the opening of a special themed land called Maple Island in Lotte World Adventure, an amusement park in Seoul, Korea.
“Nexon’s Maple Island is tied to a company initiative designed to offer both the MapleStory community and newcomers more fun and new experiences beyond the realm of the online game,” Nexon said in a press release. “Located in the outdoor area of Lotte World Adventure, Maple Island shares the enchanting world of MapleStory in real life and features four attractions, as well as a wide variety of related merchandise, food and beverages.”
The studio and theme park are hosting a “MapleStory in Lotte World” festival from now through June 14th. This festival includes MapleStory parades, projection mapping art, and special decorations.
