Top Hat Studios shared a slate of upcoming indie titles during its Spring Showcase 2026, highlighting new partnerships, trailers, release dates, and demo announcements across its publishing lineup.
The digital showcase featured a mix of horror, action, platforming, and experimental titles, with several projects getting new reveals and playable demos.

New Reveals and Partnerships
One of the major announcements was Metamorphosis, a 2D pixel art horror action game from developer luxan. The game follows Aria, a nun seeking absolution in a ruined world, and leans heavily into atmospheric exploration set against a decaying, futuristic backdrop.
Top Hat Studios also revealed Hallow Blade, a dark fantasy first-person action-adventure from Xekvera. Players take on the role of a wanderer bonded to a possessed sword, with combat focused on fast-paced encounters and evolving abilities tied to the weapon.

Release Dates and Demo Announcements
Several games in the lineup received release timing updates or demos. Motorslice, a parkour-driven action game from Regular Studio, is set to launch on May 5, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox platforms. The game follows a character known as “P” as she traverses a collapsing megastructure, destroying machines along the way.
Meanwhile, The Backworld, a surreal horror RPG from Numor Games, now has a playable demo available on Steam. The game focuses on shifting realities and sanity-based mechanics that affect both gameplay and perception.
Well Dweller, the next title from the creator of Crypt Custodian and Islets, will also receive a Steam demo on April 23, 2026. The game is a dark fairy-tale metroidvania centered on a small bird navigating a twisted world.

More Titles Round Out the Showcase
Other titles featured in the showcase include Delivery Must Complete, an aerial roguelike focused on high-speed combat and traversal through chaotic warzones, and Twinkle’s Galactic Tour, a rhythm-based 3D platformer built around music-driven movement and a retro anime style.
Top Hat Studios also highlighted Becrowned, a psychological survival horror game that blends medieval themes with industrial imagery, following a protagonist trapped in a distorted nightmare shaped by his own fears.
