The biggest challenge is keeping cohesion and consistency while keeping gameplay fresh – Beralt Lyu, Lead Producer of Where Winds Meet
He talked about how the team building Where Winds Meet has focused on adding content that works with the existing world, ensuring consistency. He used the three current regions as an example, explaining how Qinghe, Kaifeng, and Hexi have all been created to look distinct while utilizing everything players have learned throughout their time exploring.
Where Winds Meet‘s world has been crafted to provide an immersive and fulfilling exploration experience, and to keep players motivated, it looks like the intense update system that has been present since launch will continue at full speed. Each new update comes with so much to work through, and whether playing alone or with friends, it will likely be a new and exciting chapter in the Where Winds Meet narrative.
